'Sup guys, I'm gonna be away for a while!
I'll be going to Spain with a group of students to claim a military base for about 3 weeks, starting this Saturday. We're gonna attempt to break the European altitude record of student-built rockets (Which is currently already held by us *Cough). Our rocket is supposed to reach all the way up to 50km (1.9685e6 inches for all you 'Murican savages), which is 4x higher than the previous record!
The team has been working on the rocket for the past 6 years, and after a failed attempt last summer we're pretty certain that this time things will go much better. Last time we found a leak in the oxidizer tank's main valve, which cooled the entire lower section of the rocket down to -150C (-240F) and destroyed the engine-control electronics and some batteries. In the past year we've spent a lot of time on completely re-designing the engine-control segment and electronics, changed quite a bit on the valves and fuel-lines and created an additional video and data down- and uplink. Besides, things now simply look a lot cleaner as well. The past year has also been used to extensively test the engine, and quite some improvements have been made there as well.
Either way, since I'll be staying there I probably won't be online much, if at all. (Good thing I'm not doing anything productive on here anyway, eh?) No idea about the state of the network at the base, but our expectations are not too high.

Vacation and stuffz

G'day peeps!
Finally vacation again! After an entire year of spending nearly all the time I had on my study, I can proudly say this year's arse has been kicked and I'm off to the next one! Right now I just got through the first week of my 2-months vacation in which I can FINALLY work on my to-do list (So many icons holy shit whoa) and some other things I still have laying around. (WIP's? Yay? Nay?)
So far I've built my biggest canon yet, fixed and picked up my airplanes again and largely re-arranged the mancave, I'm sure the rest will be fun as well.
-Speaking of fun; the next 2 weeks I'm largely gonna spend dragging some crazy Dane all over the Netherlands, so if I stay offline for a strangely long time, I have most likely been killed and eaten by Koeteren. Ah well, I'll take my chances! ;D
After that I *might* go on a short vacation with my parents as well, but that's not completely sure yet.
Anyway, have a nice vacation Y'all, and if you still need to study/work, go kick its shit and be awesome regardless!
